My mixed media paintings are created by layering, layering, and more layering of vintage collage papers, acrylic paint, oil pastel, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil and all sorts of other things that fall onto my studio work table.
In each piece - large or small; on paper, panel, or canvas, you will find dense compositions full of bold brush strokes, expressive drawn line, and intriguing bits of collage. Evoking joy and sparking curiosity, my work celebrates the build-up of large and small moments that create our everyday lives and overlapping interactions.
